“Capriccio” is a decorative fantasy in which flowers transform into a lace-like texture. The richly detailed pattern is built from shades of violet, blue, white, yellow, and green. The background does not function as a background in the usual sense. Instead, it participates in the composition alongside the flowers, linking individual elements into a unified lace-like design.

Numerous details come together in a single rhythm, where individual flowers become part of a larger ornamental pattern. Large white flowers serve as anchor points within the composition, enlivening the design and giving it clarity and expression. Despite its abundance of detail, the piece is perceived as a cohesive work built on the harmony of ornament and color.
