Inside this marble, flowers bloom against the backdrop of a violet-and-white spiral whose twisted lines resemble strings that have already caught the sound and set themselves dancing. White, lilac, blue, and burgundy petals with slender green leaves merge into harmony, like a melody suspended in glass. The spiral draws the gaze inward, from note to note, from motif to motif, evoking the endless progression and return of a musical theme. Large lenses enhance the play of light, revealing the depth and the finest details of the composition. Each element was placed by hand using a proprietary technique I developed in my studio to achieve exceptional clarity and expressiveness.
