On Patreon, you can regularly step inside my studio, watch me work at the torch, and discover new techniques and ideas with me.
Part 1
Murrini & Branches
In the first part of this studio session, I begin preparing the elements for a future botanical marble.
I show how I create leaf murrini, as well as stringers for delicate branches that will later become the foundation of the botanical composition.
I take you through the entire process at the torch — choosing and combining glass, building the design, pulling the murrini and stringers, and preparing the elements for the next stage.
The video includes my commentary in Russian with detailed English subtitles.
Part 2.
In this studio session, I continue the project from Part 1 and assemble the botanical marble using the leaf murrini and branch stringers I prepared earlier.
I show the entire process step by step: how I build the composition, place the leaves and branches, add the flower murrini, encase the design in clear glass, and finally shape and finish the marble.
As always, I explain the technical details along the way — including how I control the heat, preserve the shape and definition of the murrini, and work with the composition as it develops inside the glass.
The video includes my commentary in Russian with detailed English subtitles.
